The visible coverts, tertials and tail feathers have been renewed; the secondaries were not judged (but see 5-6 below). Primary moult score: P1-3 new, P4 growing, P5-6 missing and P7-10 juvenile. Compare to the typical graellsii 2cy in 2. Lichte 2kj Kleine Mantelmeeuw. De zichtbare dekveren, tertials en staartpennen zijn vernieuwd; de armpennen waren niet beoordeeld (maar zie 5-6 hieronder). Handpenscore: P1-3 nieuw P4 groeiend, P5-6 ontbrekend en P7-10 juveniel. Vergelijk met de typische graellsii 2kj in 2.

4-6: © Mars Muusse, 15-07-06. Erasmusgracht, Amsterdam. One month later, only P9-10 are still juvenile, P1-5 are fully grown, P6 is growing and P7-8 are missing. The secondaries are hard to judge but it looks like less than half of the secondaries were replaced recently (so the rest previously on the wintering grounds). The right R5 is not yet fully grown. Een maand later zijn alleen P9-10 nog juveniel, P1-5 zijn volgroeid, P6 groeit en P7-8 ontbreken. De armpennen zijn lastig te beoordelen maar het lijkt erop dat de minder dan de helft van de armpennen recentelijk vervangen is (en dus de rest eerder op de wintergronden). De rechter R5 is nog niet volgroeid.
