Baltic Gull - Baltische Mantelmeeuw - Larus fuscus fuscus

Feather patterns and the rather pale grey lower scapular do not fit the average Baltic Gull to say the least, but the replaced P1-8 are indicative for fuscus(/heuglini). Possibly this is what some birds from a mixed pairs look like? Nog een vogel die moeilijk (onmogelijk) is om op naam te brengen. Het is een understatement om te stellen dat de veerpatronen en behoorlijk lichtgrijze onderste schouderveren niet op de gemiddelde Baltische Mantelmeeuw passen maar de vervangen P1-8 duiden wel op fuscus(/heuglini). Mogelijk is dit een voorbeeld van een vogel uit een gemengd broedpaar uit N Noorwegen?
